Our Services
At That’s the Rub, we believe everyone deserves to feel confident and competent in their own body. To get you there, we offer a variety of massage options, specializing in therapeutic massage based on the KI PROCESS™, a medical and clinical approach to massage therapy with special customization to help YOU reach YOUR goals, deep tissue massage, sports massage (we call it The Performance Rub because it’s great for anyone who performs at the edge from athletes to musicians to dancers and beyond), and facilitated stretching. Our Expansions
In 2014, we expanded our business by opening The Body Boutique, a specialty store offering high-quality body care products, skincare, and local art. This expansion allowed us to open another extra-large treatment room dedicated to facilitated stretching, further cementing our reputation as the leading provider of results-oriented therapeutic massage in Bloomington.
Fast forward to 2020, we opened a full-service training gym and added another treatment room to better serve our fitness-minded clients. Our staff includes dual-certified massage therapists, personal trainers, and corrective exercise specialists, all ready to help you reach your fitness goals.
Keplinger Institute of Massage & Wellness
In May 2021, we expanded our facility even more to open the Keplinger Institute of Therapeutic Massage & Wellness, where we offer community classes, professional continuing education, and massage therapist training for licensure. We are dedicated to providing the latest in massage therapy education and training to help professionals enhance their skills.
Our Location
Nestled in the heart of Bloomington’s downtown in historic Graham Plaza, just a quick walk from the iconic Sample Gates, our facility features seven large treatment rooms, a dozen outstanding massage therapists, two spectacular estheticians, a full-time personal trainer, a constant flow of amazing students from the Ivy Tech Comunity College Massage Therapy Program and Keplinger Institute of Massage Training who intern with us while getting their degrees or continuing education units (we have several staff and former staff who founded/teach/run both programs), and a tranquil relaxation lounge. We are located in the Bloomington Entertainment and Arts District (BEAD) and feature original art by local artists adorning every wall (most of which are for sale).
